John is a native of Kansas City, MO and now makes his home in the Suburb of Lee’s Summit.  After graduating from the University of Missouri, John began a career in banking spanning the next two decades.  John then moved on to a successful career in real estate before joining Lotus Hospitality.

John’s extensive background in all phases of commercial banking and lending help Lotus Hospitality to develop the right funding structure for their hotel projects.  His ability to perform loan review due diligence ensures that Lotus will enter the right deals with the right terms consistently. 

When not working in finance, John has worked to represent the Lee’s Summit R-7 school district in Missouri in tax appeals and was chairman of the Lee’s Summit Economic Development council.
