Quick 1 night stay The hotel was clean and in a good location to the interstate. The staff I interacted with were friendly. The pool area was older and closed but it seemed they were doing some updates. If I was there longer I could review their food and beverage options.

Travel Great value, clean room, comfortable bed. Friendly staff and breakfast was very good and freshly made. Location was convenient.will stay again when in area. The staff in the restaurant was very helpful and attentive. .

Good All Around Great staff, well furnished hotel, clean and polished everywhere, and the food was very well prepared for both our catered meals and the restaurant. One note -- every time a staff member saw a visitor, they cheerfully greeted them.

Thank you to the kind staff While they didn’t have any rooms available, the manager kindly and graciously helped my young adult daughter and her friend when they found themselves in unexpected circumstances on their way to the Taylor Swift Concert. We appreciated it tremendously! We look forward to staying there on future visits to the area!

Unforgettable Stay in Style! I have traveled completely solo for the very first time for the Taylor Swift Eras Tour concert on July 7th that happened to be my very first T-Swift concert that I’ve ever attended! I called in on the morning of the concert for early check-in and was able to check-in early at 1pm so that I can make the 2:30pm parking lot opening at Arrowhead Stadium and have plenty of time to buy some Taylor Swift merchandise before the 6:30pm show opener! Upon entering my hotel room for the stay, the room makes me feel like I’m at home: room temperature was perfect and the bed is also comfortable to sleep in! Room is stocked with all the necessities needed for my stay and the Wi-Fi works great! On checkout day, I had some time to stop by for breakfast; the service was excellent and the food that I was served (sunny side up eggs with pork sausage and breakfast potatoes) was delicious! The checkout process was fast and easy with the express checkout option in the Hilton app, so I can skip the front desk and be on my way home afterwards! Overall, I would highly recommend Hilton Garden Inn Independence for any traveler (both personal and business) and I would also like to give a big shout-out to Aaliyah for going above and beyond in making my hotel stay experience unforgettable as much as with the concert and helping me travel in Male Swiftie style as seamlessly as possible!

Nice hotel with convenient location This is a nice hotel with a very convenient location right off I-70. There is some shopping and a few restaurants within walking distance. I will definitely come back if I am in the area again in the future.

Good one night stop Booked two rooms for just one night while catching a Royals game and the hotel worked fine for our purposes; it was clean and comfortable. The staff I interacted with were all super nice. We showed up 2 hrs before check in time and one room was ready and the other was ready by actual check in time which was nice. Our rooms on the 6th floor were perfectly fine, they were a little dated and yes the rugs are worn but everything was clean. I had a good nights sleep and have no complaints. The location is just off the highway and super close to the stadiums and to downtown KC, super convenient. Plenty of parking and friendly staff, would stay again.

Excellent Service Team, room lighting need upgrading Checked in by Kevin, one of the hotel managers and our reception was perfect and cheerful. Thank you very much. The 8? carparking spaces reserved for Diamond members close to the hotel entry were nice, as we had a fair amount of luggage. The breakfast and reception staff were so helpful and cheerful. The breakfast was a full service in a clean and spacious restaurant. As we are "seniors", our only issue was the dim lighting in the bedroom and bathroom. Some modern LED lighting, especially in the bathroom would be great.

A good, comfortable stay in a great location This is a bit of an older hotel, with a few scuffs on the walls, furniture, and carpet, and a bit of damaged finish on the furniture, but! its all very clean and I honestly felt a little nostalgic staying at Hilton that reminded me of the ones I had visited years ago (it even smelled the same!) There aren't any USB chargers in the room, which is the only "modern" amenity I really missed. Lots of good restaurants in the area, but the best seemed to be the steakhouse attached to the hotel via the conference center. Breakfast isn't included, but its not too pricey and quite good. Overall a very good place to stay after a tiring day driving.
