Lotus Hospitality began as a small company with a single hotel and one man’s vision to create a luxury experience accessible to everyone.
From humble beginnings, Lotus Hospitality has expanded to operate seven hotels in less than a decade. Mark learned through years of hard work and experience how to capitalize on opportunities and maximize the potential of underperforming projects. From the execution of company’s first major project in Kansas City, Lotus Hospitality’s unique new properties and historic refurbishments have changed the landscape of the city and sparked growth throughout the downtown corridor. But we’re nowhere close to finished.
We have a vision for growth outside the region that’s bolstered by our constant focus on maintaining current facilities and promoting unity among employees to optimize performance and customer satisfaction at all levels. As we move toward our company’s bright future, we remain committed to operating Lotus Hospitality with our founder’s core values: dedication, loyalty, and kindness above all.
Lotus Hospitality is consistently working to develop new and unique hotel projects to add to our portfolio of properties. We are currently hard at work on our latest and most ambitious project to date. The Canopy in Downtown Kansas City will be the first of its kind in Kansas City and pay homage to the rich history of the Historic Palace Building we are renovating.
Simply put: we eat, sleep and breathe hotels. We carefully manage each ambitious project through constant communication with builders, vendors, contractors and the other professionals who are responsible for bringing it to life. We select every detail, from color palette to furniture to carpeting, with an artistic vision that meets brand standards while prioritizing guest comfort.
Our award-winning hotels maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction because of the people behind them. Well after a grand opening, we continue to leverage the talents of our dedicated personnel to operate properties at the highest level of streamlined service. We’re following the lead of our founder in stimulating personal growth and creativity among all employees, identifying and addressing needs to help them reach their full potential as they provide a superior guest experience for everyone who walks through the hotel doors.
